I wish it were socially acceptable to walk up to complete strangers in public places and (for no other reason than that you happen to like the look of them and have a feeling they may be a kindred spirit) tell them hello and you'd like to be friends if that's okay.
I think that would be nice. I'm feeling rather opposed to unspoken social norms at the moment. I really just miss my dearest friends.
